not a bad night 3-1.. but I just wanted to say I was very surprised that a couple of these teams in the 4in6 and 3in4 outplayed their home opponents by far like for example the flyers were by far the better team Habs were luckily to even be in overtime there..

do you think the plays should be tightened up then considering? or is it because its still early in the season the away teams on short rest playing 4 games in 6 days hasn't started to show its fully effects ? I was wondering these things last night was considering only playing the Jets but went ahead played both and my concerns of backing Stars came out in the 3rd really bad 3rd period for them.. Ottinger lets puck just crawl by him from behind the net and sit there for a gift for Horvat to score and Isles take the lead

i'd say as the season progresses with wear and tear teams can find it difficult to find intensity and energy that is so important in hockey.....in their 4th game.....but we shall see.

after the dallas loss i would have been peeved off if minnesota also found a way to lose.

Jesus MTL is just really not a good team.. overachieving to have 10 wins already.. side note refs calling everything but no call on Wilson elbow in corner which immediately leads to WASH 4th goal.. hopefully they somehow pull this out but its been a nightmare start with penalty in first min n immediately off PP face-off OV snipes one within first 70 seconds of game
