Score doesn't show it but total domination by Michigan State. Out coached them and physically dominated doing what ever they wanted.

Zero creativity in the play calling there and the entire game. If you do the same thing over and over, expect the same results.

If it weren't for that pick 6, Stanford wouldn't have really been in the game from the 2Q on.

It is kind of funny that Shaw is a "hot" NFL coaching prospect. Just think, he can dial up those plays for Tampa next year!

I figured they were going to run a bootleg out of the formation or a quick pitch outside to the tailback after sucking all 11 in the box. Was not impressed with Stanford at all. Not sure why so much hype for the cardinal to move that number to 7. Got their ass beat up and down.

I think you can say he took his name off the list of many football teams....because he showed hes not coach and probably not even a good OC in the NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Hogan would have taken 2 steps back and flipped it to the tailback he could have run a long way, I think.

Shaw keeps saying he is not leaving Stanford for the NFL or any other college job ... after today I don't think he'll have to worry about that. If you think about it you have to wonder why Stanford was such a big favorite after losing regular season games to a pedestrian Utah team and a USC team that was bad early. Michigan St. can play with anyone.

stan had a plan and stuck to it. no matter how big and nasty your lines are you cant run into a 8 or 9 man box. simple adjustments and stan would have won easily. msu ran for under 80 yds. the best d lineman in the country spent half his day covering receivers???

No need to run when throwing at will for 300+ yards. Pic 6 kept the game close.

what I dont understand is why you start the game out throwing the ball down field and go right in for a TD ....and then think they can run the ball on every down and never throw the ball....hell on the other 4th down at the 38 yd line why not just throw the ball down the field and even if its picked off its like a pooch punt...I dont know why a school they talk about that has so many smart people that went there and goes there you would think they could get a little smarter coach hes an IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Momentum in game changed big time when pass interference was called on that throw 10 feet over the WR head in end zone.. 10-0 at the time.. Next Stanford possession, WR gets drilled in the back on 3rd down but no call.. two big calls that made a huge difference in the game.. MSU played very well, but they did get plenty of help from referees.. Penalties were pretty one sided...

Respect your view but disagree. Don't think refs had any play in final outcome. As I said above score not representative of Michigan State domination.

Yes, and Stanford went up 10 again after the pick 6. Stanford just kept running the ball up the middle even when it wasn't working. QB also missed the RB on a wheel route where he just threw to the TE away....but MSU pretty much dominated
