1* 17-15... Opinion Play
2* 24-14... Good Play
3* 7-3... Rare
5* 1-0... VERY RARE!!
Well we had our first losing day in a while going 1-2. I like Fridays card a lot and hope it gets on back on the winning track!!
1* - Yanks (-128) $128 to win $100
The Yanks just saw Matsuzaka less than a week ago and lost in Boston, I think the Yanks lineup will be too much for Daisuke and it will be awfully hard to go into Yankee Stadium and beat this Yankees team especially after being embarrassed in Boston and getting swept. Pettitte is throwing for New York and I will take my shot with the Yanks at home to get the first win in this series.
2* - Mariners (-125) $250 to win $200
A battle of Southpaws go at it as DE LA rosa throws for K.C. and Ramirez throws for Seattle. The game is being played in Seattle and I like them in this spot. They are starting to play some decent baseball right now and should be able to get to DE LA rosa in front of the home crowd.
2* - Indians (-143) $286 to win $200
I like this Indians team a lot and I hate to lay all of this chalk for friday but I just cant pass up this line. First of all Indians are at home and are facing Steve Trachsel who somehow is still pitching in the major leagues. Jake Westbrook is throwing for Cleveland and even though he has struggled to start the year, I trust him way more than I would Trachsel. Westbrook looked a little better last outing @ Tampa and has always pitched better at home. I think he will get back on track and the Indians bats should provide enough offense against Trachsel.
3* - Astros (-155) $465 to win $300
Ok once again I absolutely do not like laying -155 especially with a struggling Astros team... however Roy Oswalt is on the hill at home and that is just a recipe for disaster for the opponent. Roy has looked good this year although his last start was a little shaky. It was against the team he faces friday the Brewers. He faced them his last start in Milwaukee and gave up 4 runs over 7 innings. Capuano didnt do good either giving up 4 er over 6 innings. I think Oswalt will show why hes one of the best pitchers in the game and as I do think Capuano is a solid pitcher I will always be happy with Oswalt on my side.
- All lines from Betjam... Good Luck
