4 US Marines killed in Iraq Wednesday.

FOUR US Marines were killed in action in separate incidents in Iraq's Anbar province, a Sunni-dominated area west of Baghdad, the military said today.

Two Marines were killed today while conducting "security and stability operations" in the province, the military said.
Another Marine was killed in action yesterday and a fourth died of wounds received in action on Tuesday in Anbar, the military said in a statement.

The military declined to identify the Marines until it notified the next of kin.

As of today, 891 US service members have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq in March 2003, according to the US Defence Department

Getting tired of reading about young Americans killed for nothing on the other side of the world. Does anyone really think they are safer now that the US occupies Iraq? If anything the world has become a much more dangerous place, especially for 20 year old US Marines, regardless if they are volunteers or not.

Last night CNN reported on servicemen badly burned while serving in Iraq. It was gruesome. Some had facial and scalp burns to the bone. They showed pictures of them when they first joined. Nice looking young men, who now look like monsters from a horror movie. While watching this I thought of Bush playing golf and how he ran yellow during the Vietnam war.

I hear ya. I keep going back to an interview I saw with Seymour Hersh, the reporter who broke Abu Ghraib. He said that he interviewed senior leaders from Israeli govt. and intelligence and claims they have all advised Bush to cut his losses and get out now.

They said to the effect of whether we leave tomorrow or 3 years from now, Iraq will be a civil war bloodbath. Might as well get out now and reduce US casualties.

Quite frankly, I trust Israeli intelligence more than I do US when it comes to that region of the world.

To tick off some of US intelligence failures:

- we will find WMD stockpiles in Iraq
- signifcant ties to Al Qeada
- Iraqis will welcome us with open arms
- the oil revenues will pay for the reconstruction
- we've made the US safer from terrorists (while seeing no decrease in the threat level candy colored bar chart)
- we don't need over a hundred thousand Armed forces personnel to occupy the country
- Chalabi has support to lead interim government

Did you know the Saudi Ambassador told Bush before the war to hire the Iraqi army to keep order as soon as the USA took over so Americans would not have to die day after day. The clueless moron did not take his advice.

Those young men and women died for a great and glorious cause. We invaded Iraq because they were/are a clear and present danger to the US (and the rest of the world). They have all kinds of WMD's over there and were going to use them against us "immanetly." Their military was a superpower waiting to happen because they have such super technology like shovels and they can dig holes to hide in to kill us with and....................... no wait.................... they died for the "liberation" of the Iraqi people who obviously want us over there destroying their infrastructre and killing their innocent civilians so we can install democracy which will be/was welcomed with open arms. Think about how great it is in Iraq now with all of these suicide bombers and gurellia warfare that wasn't there before we invaded...................


I'm am so sick of this fvcking shiat everyday a marine is killed for no goddamn good reason. This administration is indirectly responsible for close to 1,000 US deaths and is directly responsible for the death of who knows how many Iraq civilians.
