If they brandished a gun (and who knows about that), why wouldn't he run away?
Read the article....No gun......The woman did not report seeing a gun and so far, the suspects have denied they had one.
Run away and get help...LMAO
I hope you`re not a father...LMAO
I read the article --- where is the proof of gun vs no gun? We have several unreliable witnesses. Drunk father, drunk daughter, and teenage ruffians.
Really not my point though. Just as a hypothetical, I don't think it's *that* crazy to imagine a scenario where a parent would go seek help (instead of engaging five young males, who may or may not have a gun/weapon).
On the Internet, I understand that every poster is a wannabe Liam Neeson from Taken. But in real life, it doesn't quite work that way. How many children have died in apartment/house fires, as their parents watched from outside?
And for what it's worth, I think the father *did* come back, and throw rocks for a couple minutes.
Really don't know what I'd do. Obviously, first instinct is to protect your family --- but how can you protect them with a bullet in your gut, or a cracked skull?
