Knocked Up:
"You can get pink eye from farting on a pillow?"
"Totally."
"That's awesome."
"Ya... but you gotta be bare assed."
"Jesus... Martin got it bad, what did someone take a dump right in your eye?"
"No... no pink eye for me. I'm just really high."
Overall Record: 15-14, +1.15 units
Indians ML (-104) **4 UNITS** PLAY OF THE YEAR (so far)
Phillies (-109) *2 UNITS*
Pirates ML (+155) *2 UNITS*
White Sox/Rays o9.5 (+100)
Tigers ML (+119)
Rangers ML (+146)
- The Indians are my play of the year SO FAR. I'm putting 4 units on the Tribe mainly because of how amazing Paul Byrd has been in his career vs. the Twins (10-3, 3.64/6-1, 2.11, 64 IP in Metrodome). The man likes the Metrodome!
- I almost put 3 units on the Phillies and made it my play of the month but I just don't know which Eaton will show up on Sunday night. Will it be the one that is 5-0 w/ a 2.90 career ERA vs. the Mets? Or the one that has a 6.11 ERA and a 3-7 record at Citizens Bank? Ben Sheets had very similar career #s vs the Reds the other day and we cashed with him. I'll put my faith in the first Adam Eaton I described showing up.
- Love Duke vs. the Cubs (4-2, 2.01/3-2, 2.14 in Wrigley) and Dempster is bad vs. Pirates lifetime (3-7, 5.62).
- Look for the White Sox lineup to wake up against Edwin Jackson and the Rays will put up a few runs themselves. 7-4 White Sox is quite possible.
- Am I an idiot? Yes. I'm taking the Tigers again. Burnett hasn't faced Detroit a lot but 17 H, 15 ER, and 7 BB in 13.2 career IP against the team, those are B-A-D, bad numbers. Robertson's 3.19 career ERA inside domes is pretty impressive as well.
- Millwood very good in career vs. in Boston (3.44 ERA). Wakefield very bad in career vs. Rangers (5.66 ERA).
