4-18 System Plays (27-2 +15.41 units)

I have decided to take my 2-2 day and take a break until the real three game series start again. I just dont like these 2 game series and I dont feel like the system will work the same. I went 2-0 on sides, but Colorado is just a pathetic team and couldnt score. I really expected them to get to a very weak AZ bullpen but it didnt happen. As for the Marlins over. . . Damn this team knows how to score late dont they. The 1st half unders with this team have to be hitting at an unbelievable clip and that is something I am really going to pay attention to. I dont know what your record would be if you were playing all 1st Half unders and then the games over, but I would guess it would be pretty damn good!!!

I am going to leave my system play record at 27-2 and just take off the .06 units I lost tonight on juice.

I will be back tomorrow probably with some straight capped out plays, so talk to you all tomorrow and I hope you all had a GREAT night!!

you wont believe this kruser...i went 8-3-1 in baseball and 2-0 in the nba! i dabble in baseball totals so a few was from that. but you helped as well as others and the nba was all mine. its baseball i CANNOT cap.in fact i have a question. when handicapping a baseball game what is the biggest key ,what is most important in your decision? i know this guy at my work. he trys to impress me with his vast knowledge of sports,except hes a geek with no clue. he says starting pitching makes no difference,he said always bet the team with the pitcher whos not a star. that its bullpens that decide games not starters. i cant argue with this clown cuz im JUST A CLUELESS GIRL. so can you straightren this out for me and once those who read this respond im going to bring this thread up on the puter at work and let him read what real handicappers say.im blown away how good the people are in here. i appreciate everyone. one last thing kruser. who we betting tuesday?

seems like with teams like boston and yanks at home laying big prices is not the way to go. much better is the run line. last year boston and balt had less run line losses than anyone else. this year so far the have not lost a run line bet at home. yanks were minus 110 last night a much better bet than minus 2.85 in my opinion.

Roxy - As far as capping baseball there are a few key stats that I look at. I look at a pitcher's control in the last few games. I wont bet any pitcher that has had control problems in his last few games because walks ALWAYS lead to runs. The guy at your work is partially right. The bullpens of these teams are a huge asset to the team themselves. If a team can't close out thier pitcher's good start to the game then there is no point to betting on a team because its the FINAL score that counts. If I find a team with a bad bullpen, but good starting pitching then this is where Pinnys 1st 5 innings come from. Being good at capping baseball for me is the fact that I watch every single game almost every single night on cbssportsline. By the end of next week I will know everyone's batting AVG, Bullpens, Starter rotations, STarting lineups, Defense, Set-up men and pretty much every aspect that you can get from each team. That IMO is the biggest reason for my success. One last, but very very important thing I pay attention to is how the players in each lineup has done against every pitcher that might be in the game for the other team. This takes a good amount of time, but in baseball there is so many possibilies and in order to win in the long run you HAVE to pay attention to each possible situation. I think baseball is the most profitable sport possible, but it is also the MOST work out of any. This is the reason why books make a lot of money on baseball, too many angles to pay attention to.
