After taking Providence, I got the following email from my friend, AKA The Cooler:

As soon as I read this email, I knew Providence was screwed. My friend is amazing (in a bad way), he has jinxed so many "easy" winners.
Couple years ago, I had money on the Heat. They were playing the Knicks. Heat had a double-digit lead @ halftime, it was a Friday/Saturday night. My friend wanted to hit the bars, I told him to wait 90 minutes, I wanted to see the 2nd half. "What!?!? The Heat are winning by double-digits! That game is OVER!"
This was back when Heat/Knicks was a MAJOR rivalry, so you knew the Knicks were gonna make a run in the 2nd half. They did, and then they won. The Cooler worked his evil magic.
