probably not much to some here. But I quit drinking 3 months ago today it has changed my life in many great ways. I've lost 30lbs and became a much healthier eater. I know longer gamble, and if I do it is minimal. I was on a one way train to hell, but I put a stop to it 3 months ago.

For you guys going to the bash, have a safe and fun trip. I attended one years back, and met some great guys. I will try and make it next year, but right now is the wrong timing.

Best of luck on all wagers today!:cripwalk:

Yeah. Good job:103631605. Several accounts of drinking alone cutting out a ridiculous amount of body fat.

I'm still on the train and don't see a stop yet.:drink:

Yea, looking at 210lbs. I am a pretty big guy. I life weights too, so I have a lot of muscle. But at 210, I will be back to my fighing weight. Haven't seen that since 2001. I was 255, down to 223 and change.

I notice a lot of difference in just 30lbs.

I was a mess, and that is an understatement.

You ever see a bunch of serious bicyclists? They're all skinny.

That makes sense since weight loss can best be done by slow, continual exercise. It burns calories without muscle buildup and without causing excessive food cravings.

Dude I can understand that...

Started a diet today...

Getting the coke withdrawls already. Gambling and not taking care of yourself is a one way ticket to trouble.

Don't look at it as a diet.....that will set you up for failure.

I made life style changes. Diets are a fade. Make some true life style changes, that's where it starts

Good job, lately I've been trying to keep drinking down, but once football season and tailgating roll back around it will be hard.

Every home game I'd knock down at least 20-30 beers, that's like 2000-3000 calories, not even counting the awesome tailgating food.

Football season is deadly. Shot of vodka is 100 calories as well and would probably get you drunk faster.

Not Coke withdrawls...Caffeine is what you are craving and it will get worse before better....Headaches may be in your future as well.

Congrats BB that is quite an accomplishment taking out two vices.

Losing weight and keeping it off is as easy as dramtically reducing sugar intake and anything that turns to sugar. Alcohol (unfrotunately for me) has a ton of it. So I counter with eliminating almost everything else sugar wise..

anyways best of luck and enjoy the games for what they are ENTERTAINMENT

Yeah I drink most every night but I also cut sugar completely out of my diet (minus whatever occurs naturally in wheat bread and fruit and all that). Staying steady at 6'0", 180 or so. Haven't even been working out the last 2 weeks and haven't gained any. Eating right plays a huge part.
