Congratulations #1.
Timing is everything. Any idea how you would have done if you started doing this right after the all-star break?
Are there only 4 teams who have never lost ATS 4 times in a row, MIA,IND,MINN,& SAN.? And 7 teams who have never coverd 4 times in a row, BOST,PHIL,CHIC,WASH,NO,PORT,& SEAT.?

Mikeoxbig, I have not worked it out.
But, San Antonio is not one of the teams in my original list. They have lost 4+ in a row ATS twice this season. Also, Portland had 1 winning streak of 6 in a row ATS. Besides these 2 teams, I believe the rest have yet to slip from their norm. So if you bet the 9 teams you listed (which is my original list), you would definetely make a profit. You should be able to work this out. Just take a starting bet amount, say $100, and everytime your bet loses, double the previous bet up to 4 double downs. So if a team loses 3 in a row then win their fourth, it would be calculated like this:
lose 110
lose 220
lose 440
win 800
balance= +30

Really small profit for making such high wagers, I realize this!
But, it is better then losing.
I have revised my system after my first time.
The main difference is, I look for the right time to make my first bet.
Perfect example was Minnesota the other night.
They had lost 2 in a row at home, then they went on the road to face Seattle. Well, Minny only lost 3 in a row once this year, therefore I took Minny, and said it was the best bet of the night for me. I just couldn't see them losing 3 in a row again. Minny also lost those 2 games SU, you know they needed the victory.

I have thought of these types of systems for the last 2 years, but rarely do I have the discipline or balls to play that 3rd or 4th "double down". This, I think is an old Blackjack system that Pit bosses catch on real quick these days and get people escorted, that is if they have the bank roll to withstand losing 5+ hands in a row.

Anyways, wouldn't waiting for teams to lose 2 in a row ATS, before playing for the first time save a lot of dough and risk? Maybe I am not interpreting your system accurately? If so, please explain further when/how you find the right teams to play. What source do you use to track all the team's recent ATS records and seasonal ATS streaks?

Actually Pit Bosses love those bet like this. After enough losses you will hit the table maximum. From there you will never rebound. The same will happen at the books. If you are betting a dime a game, then doubling every loss you will be at $8,000 on the fourth bet. This is WAY TOO MUCH RISK for any intelligent bettor. If it looses, good luck finding the cash and the book for the next bet at $16,000! Not to mention that is a 16 grand bet to make hardly anything! It is completely nuts if you ask me.

If you want to bet like this I hope you are wagering a small amount per game. Start with like $10 and have yourself some fun!

Jarhead69, I will explain with my picks for Friday. Yes, waiting for teams like Minny to lose 2 games in a row, before you bet on them is the main core of my system. Since Minny has never lost 4 in a row, They statistically are 100%, that they will cover 1 of their next 2 games. I still handicap who they are playing. Not only their upcoming game, but also the next 2. I will further explain when I post my picks for Friday.

Expert Picks, in a polite way, I would like to say that I am a little bit insulted over your "intelligent better" statement. I have stated from the beginning that I am not a professional handicapper. But, I am an intelligent person. I have said from the beginning, that you should only bet an amount that you are comfortably able to double down 3 times.
Lets forget my system for a minute. There are people that bet $50 per game and there are people that bet $5000 per game.

IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIOUS TO KNOW THAT,
IF YOU BET SMALL, YOU WIN OR LOSE SMALL

OR

IF YOU BET LARGE, YOU WIN OR LOSE LARGE.

I have also stated in my system that I double down only twice. That is why it is important to find the right time to make your initial bet.

This is a linear formula. You bet what you can afford to lose.

I've been betting $50/initial bet.
I've made $546 in 12 days.

If your initial bet was $500.
You would have made $5,460 (10x the amount).

That is what linear means.
It is up to you to decide what amount you can afford.

Right now, my documented record is 18-1.
Will it last?
Only time will tell!
Do I gaurantee you will make money?
NEVER!

All I can say is, I've done the research on all the teams streaks, and charted them, and there are a lot of 100% stats that I have descovered. I am willing to make wagers on 100% stats, who wouldn't.

I know, betting against a solid Indy team, CRAZY! Reason is, Indy's next 3 games are tough matches. Boston, Clev, and Port all looking for the 8th playoff spot. Also all 3 have been playing pretty well as of late.

I think I am going to bet against Atlanta for at least their next five games. WHY? They beat the upcoming 5 teams handely, both SU and ATS, and 3 of the games were away. I smell REVENGE.
I predict a max of 2 covers in ATL next five.
I should probable wait for their next game against Toronto because of the amount of injuries that Wash has. So why is the line only +3 for Wash?
CAN YOU SMELL WHAT VEGAS IS COOKING?

AGAINST MEMPHIS, TAKE LAC +9.5
Why +9.5?
Only 1 game in the last 10 meetings had a difference of more than 9.5 points, and LAC won that game.
Yes, Memphis has won SU and ATS their last 6 games. Now they play an under-rated LAC team, who only once in their last six have lost by more than 9.5 points. I think LAC can win this game SU.
But, the system bet is against Memphis, not on LAC. I am only explaining why I believe it is a good spot for the initial bet. Memphis then has to play @Houston and against Phili, two teams needing some wins badly.

1 - 4 for the night. My only question to you is actually a response to earlier posts. I have been at this for quite some time AND your system is based on Trend plays. Now, you have documented streaks for this season and it seems to be going well so far.

However, in scenarios like the one you are documenting, just like you can go on Incredible WINNING streaks, it is Only a matter of time before it Reverses & you go on a Losing Streak,.

You will come out Far Better in the Long run by Truly Handicapping the scenarios --- Player performance, Home/Road win percentages ---- Injury updates --- and some trend information as well as Total team performance --- Etc. ETc.

But, either way, I wish you the Best. But BE CAREFUL, the system you have could CRUSH you if you start to double up and Chase!

Just want to clarify a couple of points.
First, last night I went 1-3 on my picks.
But, my system record is now 19-1, with 3 pending. Remember, my system is based on 3 consecutive games to make a profit.
Therefore, I will be betting against Phili, against Indy, and against Atl for their next 2 games, unless they lose ATS their next game.
Let's say Phili covers their next 2 games, then I will lose a total of $385. I will not double down after 3 consecutive loses, and it will be documented as a loss.
Also, I appreciate you saying that I am on an "incredible winning streak", but that is not the case. It is a system where only 3 or 4 loses would put me in the negatives. I realize this and people on this forum have told me this as well.
Also, I do handicap the games I bet. It is not based solely on streak trends. It would take me too long to go over everything I do to handicap my picks, but trust me, I do put my time in.
A perfect example is INDY. I am betting against them. WHY? my streak trends say to bet on Indy, not against them. So obviously I have handicapped a scinerio to bet against them. TRUST ME, I AM WORRIED ABOUT IT! BUT ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
Hopefully this clarifies things.

To minimize losing streaks and increase probability of wins, when you do encounter the
start of a streak play, what if you just play on paper the 1st game, and if it wins, chalk it up to patience. If it loses then, you start the system. Does this make any sense. Can you back test the system and find the difference in you balance to be more significant? Best of luck!

This question actually relates directly to 1BigCajun's comments.
He said that I should handicap the games. I replied by saying that I do handicap all my games. My first game of every system pick is the most important pick because it gives me the most profit. Bet 50, win 50. If I lose the first game then win the second, it would be; bet 50 lose 55; bet 100 win 100 minus 55, profit 45. So I definetly wait for the right spot to begin my system bet.
My initial bets have a record of 15-10, 60%.My overall record is 23-14, 62%. Bit of a difference, but not to significant.
I'll tell you one thing jarhead, I have made some crappy bets that have been nerve racking.
My one loss was betting on G.State, which is not a great bet on team according to my stats.
I bet against Indy the other day, which was not smart. Indy, according to my stats, is a team to bet on, not against. I just saw value and was lucky to win the first double down by a 1/2 point.
In my opinion, this system is working really well for me, and like they say, "IF IT AIN'T BROKEN, THEN DON'T FIX IT!"
