Don't sleep on NIU!!

They are now a bigger dog at +17 than any of those mentioned but I expect a much closer game than the experts think.

i feel west mich and la tech have very good chances of staying in the #'s. however both michigan and auburn are on my list for watch teams. although the jury is out on chizik he did hire 2 very good coordinators. oc malzahn is a huge upgrade for auburn offense. i'm sure they will rely on the run as the qb's won't frighten anyone but i'm sure malzahn will have a few tricks up his sleeve. ted roof did outstanding with a minny defense with pts allowed and now inherits a decent sec defense. michigan is a little different. i don't know the circumstances of the players who "cried" to the media but it doesn't sit well with me with the season so close. i do like forcier and def front but the secondary is a concern for me. the bottom line is both are coming off losing seasons facing non bcs bowl teams. both also have bigger games the following week but since they had such poor seasons last year i doubt they look ahead. especially in michigan's case. they were already embarrased by a mac team at home last year. just my 2 cents.

I agree about the Auburn coordinators. With the unknowns and the surprises that Malzahn is sure to pull, it makes the decision to bet against Auburn a little harder. But if this line should get up to 14, it's probably time to start thinking about a La Tech cover. Covering 3 scores is quite a bit considering Auburn only averaged about 20 ppg last season. I think Auburn will be improved on offense this year because they had nowhere to go but up. But I don't see them averaging 30 ppg either. Probably somewhere in between.

I agree West Mich has a great chance of covering, but they will not win the game. Michigan has a long history of not covering large numbers. Wolverines will have a nice season this year and they will be back on top come 2010.......at least I really hope so becuase it was really embarrasing to be a Michigan fan last year. :ohno:

Not only do I think that there is no chance of these teams winning outright, I also think that none of them cover the spread.:howdy:

If LaTech scores 10...They should cover. I see this game as a 21-10 type game...But hell I've been wrong before:ohno:

all due respect. Nevada has veryyy little chance of upsetting Notre Dame. no legit shot at all

I agree..when i first saw this line i was about to jump on Nevada....after looking into it i saw that Nevada had a very very poor pass defense last year....things are lookin "GOLDEN" for one specific player in south bend, and i do believe that Big Chalie has lot to prove this year...Jimmy Clausen is gonna be lookin like Tom Brady in this one game...note ..this one game....i think ND dumps on Nevada big time...something like 56-24

I love the Nevada play.
I don't think they can shutdown, or even slow down ND, but you can bet your bottom dollar they'll be keeping up w/ them.
If they can win the turnover battle, and or play well on special teams, they will win this game.

GL with whatever you decide

Maryland does return the same qB that beat Cal last year and the Fridge is 4-6 SU as a DD dog.

That being said I think they get crushed.

if the irish happen to put this game away early i can't see Ault sacrificing the health of his star players the rest of the game. theres a bigger agenda for these guys and the rest of their games are all winnable including @ the smurf turf. but even so..though notre dame shows top 15 talent on paper they still have to prove it on the field.
