After reading various threads today, it looks like there are more posters barreled in than the norm. This is why my advice is always to stay away from sports wagering. :103631605

I don't understand why so many people just hand over their hard earned money. If you know you aren't good at this why do you continue to do it? Some say it's entertainment value, but i sure the hell not handing some book my money. If people can't win at this they should quit. It's that simple.

Good for you! I never took you serious(addiction), because I thought you had a pill problem. Think what your results would be with a clear mind. Good Luck

No more pill problem. And even if when I did have one, that didn't have an influence on my gambling. It's not like when you are high on pills you are in a stuper drooling in the corner. You are more focused if anything. Now being drunk...thats another story. I have lost plenty of money in my life being drunk and just clicking away on games via the internet.

I got 2 jobs and go to school part time-masters program.

Full time job at a law firm, part time night job at a distributor.

I've got about 3k in credit card debt, just got 1 card. Don't gamble, haven't for almost 2 years. When I finish up I'll have around 10k total debt.

I just enjoy working for some reason, and I don't like to get into debt for anything. Currently trying to save everything for a house.

Dont gamble now, used to though. quit like 2 years ago.

I might do a future every now and then, but haven't placed a wager in something like 20 months now.

Didn't you give it a go with a few 1st half bets at the start of the cbb season, catch a few bad breaks, and go back into retirement? November was only 2 months ago?

Why should I?
I'm playing off my original post up from nine years ago, never reupped in nine years.
I'm a grinder, I am showing a tidy little profit, nothing to retire off of, but this is a hobby to me, I've always loved to crunch numbers.

So why should I quit a hobby that I enjoy and is profitable.
For the record, I had a bad day today myself, still enjoyed the games, without ever sweating a wager.

GTC is the exception, not the rule.
95 percent of his posts are in the political room, and even though I don't see eye to eye with his views, he's a good read with a good mind.

there's very few things in life better than sports wagering. No matter who is playing you are on the edge of your seat cheering, screaming, kicking , clawing, crying, laughing and I absolutely LOVE every minute of it. It's not even about the money. It's more about the rush. Entertainment value if you wish to call it that. Nothing beats having a dime on a game and scooching your face off for a few hours
