I actually jumped on the under on the cal game too. Couldn't believe the line when I saw it. Given that the game total was 56, and Cal is blowing them out, hopefully the Bears aren't too pissed off about last year, and will sit on the ball 2nd half.

I was thinking Cal would run a lot in the 2nd half being up so much causing the clock to wind down. Oregon wasn't much of a threat to score much since their only score in the 1st half was a long return.

ASU/Oregon under 26.5
This game reminds me of both the Iowa game and the Oregon State game where ASU handled the respective offenses. ASU gives up an average of 8 points in the second half so far this year.

I'm also going with ASU +4.5. Oregon is being contained.

Nice work Quantum. I have never really had much luck with 2nd Half lines as I just can't seem to get it through my head that If something happens in the first half it doesn't mean it will necessarily happen in the 2nd half.



I would like to play some of your 2nd halfs but I would need to be watching by the computer all day. :think:

Some of it is just doing the homework. For example, I like to study coaches' patterns. They sometimes lay off in the 2nd half when getting up big in the 1st against a weaker opponent. So the books see a large 1st-half score and make a big 2nd-half line when I know the coach will probably be putting in 2nd stringers.
