playing southern cal. expecting to lay about 13.5 or 14. some will be rushing to get down on southern cal thinking they 'cant possibly lose to oregon state' or that 'the trojans will just flip the switch and turn it on'. rest assured, im well aware usc could lose this game and lose it by double digits. there is nothing that says they HAVE to play better. osu kicked the shit out of them in the first half and nothing changes that. but all that considered, just dont trust oregon state to seal the deal. theyre a team who usually finds ways to shit on themselves and carroll's halftime adjustments are second to none. doesnt really concern me that plenty will be on this one. im comfortable for my reasons behind the play. gl.
i actually like the fact that osu gets the ball as weird as that sounds. much easier to get a 3/out and build momentum than it is to go 80 yards to get something on the board and getting momentum that way. will be interesting to see if osu plays 'not to lose' in the 2h.
