I have won 2 picks 6's at dog tracks in my lifetime. But one them only paid out $600.00 since about 19 other people hit it as well.
But the other one paid me $17,000 and I shared that one with 2 other people. But my plays WERE NOT $2 or $8 bets. They were wheels of usually between $27-100 sometimes I bet $200 or so to cover more possiblities.
On the pick 6 where I won $600, I believe that it was a $64. Of course I won a little on the 5 out of 6 and the 4 out of 6 payout as well.

Of course dog tracks pay out less than horses I believe, but only having 8 per race OR LESS makes it a little easier to win.

Oh yes, I for got to say that without hte $17,000 payday, I would not be making a profit lifetime on the pick 6. But it sure was fun since at dog tracks the races go off every 13 minutes or so.
Sometimes I may go like 3 months before hitting 5 out of 6. And each day losing $32 or $64 kind of sucks. But 4 out of 6 pays at dog tracks a little bit
