Until they make the final table, at which point those nine will go on a four month marketing blitz. Some of them will make more money during that time than they will in the tournament.

Any semblance of a glamorous final table is gone now that Tiffany Michelle was eliminated in 17th place.

We are assure of the "nine donkeys no one has ever heard of" final table.

I wonder if Fishhead just sold his Disney stock.

I don't know why anyone bitches about the no-names. Who the hell was Phil Hellmuth before he won his first ME. Look at Tom McEvoy, he was really the first one that won a ME after gaining a seat in a satellite. In those days, there wasn't any satellite on the internet since there was no internet. You played at live games at or around the Horseshoe.

In case anyone didn't know it, Binions had no regular poker games during the rest of the year. They brought in the tables, chairs and dealers only for the WSOP. I forget what year they finally got a poker room. Probably some time in the late 80's.
