A Phily +10 Under 46 Tease!! I was listening to Mike on YES. This is the game where you put the FOOT in football! Punts, Catching Punts, yards on exchanges will be critical! Should be a day where their will be a ton of punts, which gives each team 8 or 9 times to return. You can see philly putting westbrooke back their to bring stability to special teams and an opportunity to break one. Muffed punts can be a huge factor in this game. This weather might bring the line down and the under down.

If the winds stay consistent at 25 mph, both QB's wont be able to throw the ball at all on parts of the field. Remember, winds at Giants stadium swirl every which way, so it will be tough to compensate with the wind when kicking and throwing! Advantage giants right? ..because they have the superior run game? Well, not if philly is able to put up a 9 man front because eli cant throw in the wind. Odds are this leads to a typical northeast battle in the trenches, where double digit leads are non exsistant, and field goals will be extremely tough!

Thoughts..?

You may want to check your info again. I have several sources which specialize in wind speeds, and none show anything close to consistent 25 mph winds.

One shows 12 mph dropping to 8 mph over the course of the game.
One shows 11 mph dropping to 8 mph over the course of the game.
One shows 9 mph dropping to 7 mph over the course of the game.

The wind in the Ten/Bal game is predicted to be stronger than that...

Westbrook will never return another punt as long as Jackson is healthy.

I have no idea. He could be just getting ahead of himself and excited w/ the snow storm that is bearing down. Then again, maybe he has some meteorologist buddies who have an inside scoop. I'm not seeing anything that would be considered "high" for New York in January. 25 mph sustained is high. 8-12 is definitely not. My numbers will probably change some by tomorrow night, but I don't know if they'll make it close to 25mph.

Don't forget that the NE is getting blasted by a ton of snow tomorrow afternoon/evening. It was supposed to hit in the morning but has now been pushed to noon. Who knows if it gets pushed back even later.
