Jaire Alexander signs 1-year deal to join Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander in a move that adds star power and flexibility to their secondary.
The Ravens announced the signing Wednesday but did not disclose terms. The one-year deal has a base value of $4 million, and Alexander can make up to an additional $2 million in incentives, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal comes nine days after Alexander was released by the Packers, ending his seven-year run in Green Bay.
Alexander, 28, is coming off two consecutive injury-plagued seasons during which he played in a total of just 14 games. The two-time Pro Bowler now joins a Ravens secondary that also includes four-time Pro Bowler Marlon Humphrey and second-year starter Nate Wiggins at cornerback.
If Alexander wins a starting job as an outside cornerback opposite Wiggins, the Ravens could keep Humphrey in his preferred position as a primary slot cornerback.
A first-round draft selection of the Packers in 2018, Alexander was a college teammate of Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson at Louisville.

Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders cited for driving 101 mph.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders was cited by police early Tuesday morning for driving 101 mph, according to police records.
An officer for the Strongsville (Ohio) Police Department stopped Sanders at 12:24 a.m. for driving 41 mph over the posted 60 mph speed limit in his black Dodge TRX truck, according to records.
Sanders, 23, a projected first-round pick who was selected by the Browns after falling to the fifth round of this year's draft, must either pay a $250 fine for the fourth-degree misdemeanor or fight the ticket in Strongsville Mayor's Court on July 3.
Sanders participated in the Browns' mandatory minicamp last week. He remained in Cleveland along with other rookies for an orientation, according to Cleveland.com.

NFL rookie Shedeur Sanders failed to appear in court after speeding ticket, records show.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has reportedly received two traffic tickets and failed to appear in court, according to police records obtained by Cleveland.com.
Sanders was pulled over Tuesday in Strongsville, Ohio, after his vehicle reached speeds of 101 mph in a 60 mph zone, the records show.
It was revealed Sanders was also previously pulled over by Ohio State Highway Patrol in Medina, according to Medina Municipal Court records filed June 6, according to the outlet.
The records also indicate Sanders failed to appear at the June 13 arraignment for the first incident.
According to FOX 8, Sanders was traveling northbound Interstate 71 near Cleveland at the time of the most recent incident.
"He is taking care of the tickets," Browns spokesman Peter John-Baptiste told Cleveland.com.

Kansas City-based podcaster/radio host Kevin Kietzman had some harsh words to say today about Patrick Mahomes' offseason training regimen.
