2023 circa system

My circa system starts in week 4 every year once there's enough data on the circa contestants.
I only look at the consensus picks among those with the top 10 records since those are the cappers who have demonstrated a winning record at this point.
The number of top cappers changes week to week depending on ties.
This week there were 20 cappers with a record of 12-2 or better, so just looking at those top 20 contestants.

The consensus picks are

Bengals -2 (picked by 10 of the top 20)
Steelers -2.5 (10 of 20)
Seahawks pick (9 of 20)
Dolphins +3 (7 of 20)
Jaguars -3 (7 of 20)

Looks like the Jaguars pick will be a winner.

This is week 1 for posting this system so no record yet

I took the steelers ML, bengals -2.5 and dolphins +3.
My own pick is Chargers -6.5

Circa system is 2-3.

The interesting thing about this system is that is designed to be self-correcting since I am looking at only the top 10 cappers in the contest and as time goes on the best will rise to the top.

Looking at 12 cappers this week (not 10 due to ties)

5 of 12 Arizona +3
4 of 12 have Miami -11.5
4 of 12 have New England pick

Hopefully there's more clarity after today on whether these picks are Follow or Fade.

There were 25 top cappers tied for the top 10 this week, but I am counting out of 24
because one of the top contestants (Mattador) has two of the top 25.

10 of 24 have Ravens -3
10 of 24 have Rams -3
10 of 24 have Eagles -2.5 (8 of 24 have Miami)
10 of 24 have Browns -3

Out of the top 23 cappers in the Circa contest this week, the ONLY pick that more than 1/3 of contestants chose was

Carolina +3 (9 of 23 cappers)

Just when it looked like this system was producing fade material, the pick last week was probably the best on the board.

There were 21 entries today, but two were from the same contestant (BayGirl 66-1) so out of the top 20 circa contestants...

16 of 20 are on Cleveland -7.5
9 of 20 are on Jets +3.5
7 of 20 are on Carolina +2.5
