I will play at whatever entry fee is, but my opinion is that once the entry fee gets to $100 or over, the interest wanes significantly.

I would probably go to $200 to see if that gets any bites and then down from there.

I totally understand over $100 entries slow down. but if we run $100 monthly Contest we have no problems....
maybe most don't want to shell out $200 all at once ??

Maybe we can do a 2 Payment Plan ??

The Contest runs almost 4 Months.... Bring it down to $200 Entry Fee .... You can Pay $200 in one payment, or TWO $100 payments
BUT if you do the Two payments, they MUST be paid within the first 2 Months ??

Would help the guys that can't budget $200 all at once...

So Let's Go to $200 ..... ( I'll refund $50 to the people that have already paid the $250 )

JOH, maybe can edit the sign up form to give an option of Two payments

**Now of course if the 2nd payment isn't made., they are Kicked out and Banned from any future Contests

because I don't want guys taking a shot for Half the entry fee if they are doing bad ( which shouldn't happen because it's a total of 4 months )

Yeah the evidence on this forum supports this. Football is obviously king, and the entries there are $200 for NFL and $100 for NCAA for the season.

The sweet spot is about $100, which we have in the current baseball and NBA monthly contests.

A season long $200 entry fee is entirely reasonable. Would be my preferred way of doing it across all sports compared to a monthly $100.

I'm surprised at just how much more interest there is in football contests than the other sports.
