2017 Major League Baseball Totals

I had some Good Success with CBB Totals this season in my first effort here on this forum. It is now time to start MLB Totals with enough Data now to do so. This will be a season long thread that will end Mid August since predicting past that is for Guessers only.

RECORDS WILL BE KEPT.

These will be Full Game Totals Only and lines posted will be from Pinnacle/Greek averaged out. You can expect anywhere from 1 to 6 or 7 per day. Pitchers should always be LISTED.

#973 Twins/Royals Over 8 -110
#977 Mariners/Indians Over 8.5 -110

Please note that the Twins/Royals game took a dive while posting to 8 from 8.5 at both Greek and Pinnacle. Most plays will be Overs by the way as I don't deviate from the program that simply plays more of those. I don't even like some of the plays but since developing this program results have been good so I don't mess with it.

Thank you for sharing. If you don't mind, what does your data/system consist of? I don't buy in to a system coz I think it's al hypocritical to say so. No pun intended!

Without getting into how I formulated how the numbers come out there are a number of things that I take into consideration. Those include Bullpen Usage, Starter Pitch count from Previous games, historical Park Results both for Pitchers and Hitters, plus overall Park Results. Also Weather and HPU. What I don't do is use Pitcher verses Batter Data because there is almost always not enough data to make that viable. It's simplified enough that it formulates a number and if that number is 1.4 Runs different than what books have it's a play. Many times the number is 3 or more difference but I've not found those win more often so that's why I play these for the same amount.
