I would say the division would be worse. Miami and Buffalo both had higher expectations going into last year than they will this upcoming year.

Jets have a lot of talent but hard to see Fitzpatrick replicating that performance again. Some of their best players getting older too.

Pats got Martellus Bennett in the fold. Underrated move.

Very, very easy bet. No way they win 11 games.

I checked their schedule...Road games vs Den, Pitt, AZ is tough. Then Seattle at home. That is no joke.

So schedule is not easy but they're a top 3 talented team in the league with the best coach. Gotta like them to go 11-5 over 10-6 still I'd think.

They need to do only one thing - get that offensive line back together so Brady has "some" time. Bringing Scarnecchia back will be big. The Patriots have always "coached up" their O lines. Clearly, that guy last year was not up to the task. The kid from Arizona was a #7 pick. If they can get him anywhere near expectations that will be big. I'm sure O linemen will be drafted. Bennett will be a huge addition if they can get him back anywhere near his 2014 form. I hope they find a way to restructure Amendola's contract. Not sure about Hogan but he can't be any worse than LaFell. He just sucked. Of course Gronk and Edelman need to stay healthy. Getting scatback Lewis back healthy will help too. The D was young last year. They will improve.

I'm figuring the Pats to take at least one of those three tough road games and I'm expecting them to beat the Seahawks in Foxboro. I'll give them an unexpected loss like maybe the Jets. That leaves them with 13 wins. Blow 2 more. Still 11. Over easy like Sunday eggs.

Fitz is a UFA...not sure he'll be back - It's Geno's team now - Matt Forte may help

Getting Solder back could be big. After QB, left tackle is the most scarce position in the league. Decent starting LT goes down and it is tough to replace that. Why guys like Okung even get good deals, because there just aren't many people in the world that can protect the blindside at a consistently high level.

Although Solder was pretty mediocre in '14 and '15 before he went down so he could just be declining in ability.

Yeah, I really meant whoever is at QB in 2016 for NYJ likely won't replicate Fitz 2015 season. Whether it is him, Geno or even possibly BAS. He had a really good year and Jets will likely be downgrading.

Gailey has always gotten the most out of QBs though so maybe he can make it work. Marshall, Decker and Forte with a solid OL is a lot of help for whoever it is.
