Hi guys once again this year I will be running my Salary Cap Hockey pool. Congrats to Feddz on winning it last year collecting $300. We had 19 Teams last year which is kinda of low for this pool. Hoping to get atleast 25 this year. Here are the rules. I've made a couple slight changes from seasons past so please read the rules.

2015 – 2016 Salary Cap Hockey Pool Rules

Cost, $25(CDN) per team. You can submit as many teams as you like.

1. Each team must consist of 3 Center, 3 Right Wing, 3 Left Wing, 5 Defense, and 3 Goalies.
2. The Salary Cap is $71.4 Million
3. Scoring: Goal = 1 Point, Assist = 1 Point, Goalie Win = 2 Points, Goalie Shutout = 2 Points.
4. Standings: Team with the most total points at the end of the regular season will win the pool.
5. Payment: Payment ($25 CDN) can be made via Email Money Transfer or ****** to adambudgell@live.com
6. Players Positions and salaries are determined by the spreadsheet provided, only that will be considered “OFFICAL”
7. NEW RULE: ONLY Players on the spreadsheet will be allowed on your team. If he’s not listed you can’t use him.
8. RULE CHANGE: 5 Trades will be allowed throughout the season. In order for the trade to go through it must be for the same position (on the sheet), your team must still be under the cap, and you can only trade an injured player only off of your team. Player’s injury will be determined by www.pickuphockey.com (the pool website). If a player has a “YES” in the IP(injured player) column you can trade him off your team.

9. You will only receive points from the player you traded for after he is on your team. All of their points acquired before the trade will not count.
10. Trades must be submitted via email to adambudgell@live.com with date and time stamp.
11. Prize payout will be determined by the number of entries. The payout will be set the first day of the regular season.
12. Deadline for entry is before puck drop of the first game of the regular season. (October 7th, 2014 7:00pm EST Montreal vs. Toronto)
13. Pool will be online at www.pickuphockey.com Login details will be provided when you pay for your team.
14. Any questions please contact me via email at adambudgell@live.com

I haven't even been across the street yet this season, but I doubt it.

After seeing all the entries, I don't think I'll be winning this. Lots of good hockey minds in there.

Don't count yourself out already, the 5 trades and how they are used have a major outcome on the final standings. Almost every year someone jumps out to a big lead for a few months but then fades out down the stretch. Team management is key throughout the season.
