each year there are some teams that have the 3 straight game road schedule,but this year there are far more teams with it,so lets see what the outcome is.all opinions are welcome as always.

It hasn't been quite the lock it has been in the past since books have adjusted. It is still good on teasers and unders though.

The first five of those teams would be 1-2 or 0-3 in that span regardless of where they were playing, since Peyton Manning won't be playing this season. Also, not to nitpick, but the Saints third game is @ Tampa on oct 16. I'd say the Saints can pick up the first two of those though.

The Jets are the ones getting screwed by this example. Flying across the country to Oakland with a look ahead to the flight back east to Baltimore and then the following week at New England. At least the last two are near enough to their fan base, but good god that's a brutal stretch.

In the regular season:

Favorites in their third road game are 6-0 ATS since 2002
Underdogs in their third road game are 5-13 ATS since 2002

This is not counting the Jets/Pats game which was a push I think.

To be fair, this was the 11th time in their past 14 Road games that the Saints have failed to win by more than four points. Quite simply, it's far less about it being the third in a sequence of three and far more about them being an overrated Road Fave over the past two full seasons.
