the nfl is trying to find a way to hype the pro bowl up more by playing it before the super bowl. its a game very few fans care about watching.

it is probably the lowest rating of all the all-star type games between all the sports

Probably will generate more ratings. Gives fans something to watch the week before the super bowl, while after the super bowl they don't care anymore. Sucks for the players playing in the super bowl that earned their spot and can't play though. Also I can't see guys that just lost the conference championship games the week prior being excited to play in it.

gettin named on the team is the reward and all they want. most players dont want to play in the game itself so making the super bowl now means you dont have to come up with some lame excuse to get out of playing in it. im surprised at all the "no" answers on this poll."
