There's got to be easier futures than playing on the Lions. Take the Forty Niners under head coach Mike Singletary to win more then 7 games for all you can handle.

I think the Lions is pretty easy. Not really sold one way or another on the 49ers. Who will be the QB?

Remember the Niners finished very strong last year after Nolan was fired as Singletary is an outstanding motivator. They play in a very weak NFL West Division. They are defensively strong, can run the ball, stop the run and skilled at wide receiver. Unless then have a lot of injuries, the QB only has to manage the game. Getting 8 wins should be pretty easy in their division.

I hate taking teams with uncertain qb's for overs.

Speaking of NFC West O/U's, I really like the Seattle under 7-7.5. They are a team who cannot run, have a new HC, and old WR's. Defense is nothing special either.

Seattle Under 7.5 is a good play for all the reasons you stated. Guess we better quick our discussion. We have taken this thread off topic. The Lions @)

The Lions have a new HC, 1st timer at that. Unlike Miami and Atlanta last year, I don't think their front office moves will lead them to 5 wins. There will be some improvement, but this year will be a wash. The OL is horrible and the defense was worse. They may not win a game until November.

Lets see, its Daunte or the rookie. Hmmmmm, either way they are screwed. Their schedule is no walk in the park either. The more interesting over/under is Daunte's waistline entering camp:

Over 44.5" -240
Under 44.5" +200

You either have a washed up QB or a rookie QB who's going to be starting. Smells disaster. I would go with the under.
