Cavs to win title +2000 - Seems like a fair number. You have the best player in the league (not to mention the player the NBA wants to see in the finals). A strong supporting cast. Playing in the weaker eastern conference. You have to question Boston's motivation after getting their title. You have to assume there will be a letdown and age will be a factor. They pretty much just have to reach the finals, which they have shown the capability of doing, and then hedge.

I'll take the Cavs to win the title 500/10,000

idk, i really like their chances, but i think u might be throwing your money away. that is a great number, but i will have to see how they play together with the moves they made. i think they were good moves, but only time will tell. still, they were not moves like the celtics made last year that made them a lock for the championship.

Not a bad wager.

I would question the price you got though. I've got +2250 at thegreek right now. You're losing out on $1250 dollars just from not shopping your price around.

But as far as the bet, I think the Cavs have a good shot to at least get to the Eastern Conference Finals. Mo Williams will provide a solid point option as well as some back up scoring which is huge on this team.

If they do get to the East Finals, you'll at least be provided some opportunity to hedge off the bet.

Good Luck with it.

Lakers - Celtics
Spurs - Pistons (Bench is getting better and older. Less minutes for the old guys = better health.)
Houston - 76ers
New Orleans - Cleveland
Phoenix - Washington (Finally healthy?)
Utah - Orlando (Another year for Howard and Co. should mark more imporvement)

I mean Portland has some huge questions marks along with teams like Dallas. I think GS and Denver are extremely down this year. With teams like the Bulls, Bucks, and Miami on the rise....how much better is the West anymore?

Personally, I like the 76ers at +3050 as the best prop bet out there to win the title. This team is about as well rounded as any team in the whole league. I love what they have done with the addition of Brand to go along with another very experienced veteran in Andre Miller. Throw them in with a bonafide all-star as a second option in Igoudola and this team is loaded. Young is only going to get better along with Dalembert. Dalembert is becoming a Top 5 center in the East very fast and Wllie Green should be much more effective when they arent turning to him for big shots. I love this 76ers team and I think theyve got a great coach.

Phoenix fans know how great Brand can be in the playoffs. This team is loaded up and can go a solid 10 deep. Watch out for Philly.

Shit, are the Cavs seriously over 20/1 to win? They have the best player in the league and make it deep every single year. If they're going to give me a team that should at the very least make the Conf. finals at 20/1 I'll take it. I think it's Cavs vs SA this year.

true. i just didn't have any funds at the greek at this time. it would be throwing money away playing they .20cent baseball lines so out of the books i have now that are offering odds that was the best one.

Still a long season to go, but this future is starting to look better and better. still can't believe they were +2000.

Boston/Cleveland
Lakers

Then their is a huge drop off.....

Portland
San Antonio
Orlando
Denver (much better w/o the selfish one)

New Orleans
Then another sizeable drop off....

Philadelphia is a joke
Chicago is a joke
Phoenix has no clue
Dallas is a "nice" team

The Eastern conference is no longer the "weaker conference" Both conferences are pretty even....look at the records...

Any one who thinks any other team besides the Cavs, Lakers, Celtics and the Spurs are going to win the championship should re-think their thoughts.

As for the East being the weakest, you really can't suggest that. They have the two best teams in the NBA. Lakers are getting weaker as the season goes on, losing to teams like SAC won't get you any where, and of course that game last week with the Pacers.

Boston vs. Cleveland = NBA Finals.

Going to be a repeat of last year. Lakers/Celtics with Lakers winning it. I would actually look for this matchup several more times in the finals. It's the '80's revisited.

No way. Cleveland took Boston to 7 with a team who had zero consistency and LeBron playing modest in with the exception of Game 7. Boston will be LUCKY if THEY can get it to 7 this year.....Cleveland has too much depth, they have LeBron and they will wear out Boston in a seven game series...

Lakers couldn't hang with Boston last year....they won't hang with Cleveland this year....

Couldn't be happier with this right now. Officially have taken over the #1 seed in the east. If they can get home court throughout the Eastern Conference this would be huge. Should be able to hedge at absolute worst!
