2009-2010 Soccer Parlays

Hello folks, back for another year of fantastic European "futbol". Like last year, I'm going to stick to betting HEAVY FAVE parlays.... take what should be sure winners and parlay together. I had very good success last year. I thought I'd start a new thread for this year.

Alright, let's go.... a no brainer parlay in the EPL today... really don't see how this won't hit:

Manchester United ML + Liverpool ML

Odds: Roughly -130

Bol but it's so darn difficult to win a 3-game parlay, let alone 2 in this league, especially the way some of the results have been showing up in the final analysis early in the new season.

Went 1-0 yesterday, to bring me to 1-1 on the year... lots of nice favs tomorrow... I'm posting this one early, because I doubt I'll be up by the time these games kick off:

Monday EPL pick

an atroicous day yesterday with my parlays... Ajax

and Inter

sunk me big time... everything else went the way I expected... well, that's gambling, can't cry over spilt milk, just got to keep moving forward. No parlay today, just a straight bet..

Liverpool -1.5 (+102)

Villa's defense is pretty suspect. I think Liverpool wins this one handily. BOL to all

Saw Liverpool at -300, way too heavy of a line against a team like Villa. Torres and Gerrard looked pretty ineffective for the better part of the game.

Wednsday August 26

It took a very late goal from Zurich to cash yesterday's parlay. Phew! Really needed that. On to today, so far no parlay, just a straight bet:


Fiorentina ML (-130)

I'm considering parlaying Olympiacos and Stuttgart... not sure yet though, both teams have 2-0 leads going into the 2nd leg and might not take the games too seriously (see Zurich yesterday)

I had the same thoughts on Olympiacos and Stuttgart. But after viewing the highlights of the Zurich match yesterday I believe they did take the match seriously and only missed a few goals. It easily could have ended 3-1 or 4-1.
