QB - Tebow, Florida
RB1 - Wells, Ohio State
RB 2 - Moreno, Georgia
WR 1 - Crabtree, Texas Tech
WR 2 - Harvin, Florida
TE - Gresham, Oklahoma
OT 1 - Smith, Alabama
OT 2 - Oher, Ole Miss
OG 1 - Robinson, Oklahoma
OG 2 - Perry, Oregon State
C - Unger, Oregon
K - Webber, Arizona State
KR - Wallace, Penn State

DE 1 - Selvie, USF
DE 2 - Jackson, LSU
DT - Moala, USC
LB 1 - Laurinaitis, Ohio State
LB 2 - Maualuga, USC
LB 3 - Cushing, USC
LB 4 - Spikes , Florida
CB 1 - Jenkins, Ohio State
CB 2 - Harris, Virginia Tech
S 1 - Moore, Missouri
S 2 - Mays, USC
P - Crier, Arizona

Stafford would be the backup QB, McKnight will probably take Moreno's spot by the end of the year, you could put Coffman at the TE spot without complaint from me, and you could switch Harris for Vonte Davis, but I prefer Harris.

I switched the 5 OT spots to 2 OT's, 2 OG's and a C also to make it more realistic.

QB - Tim Tebow, UF (toss-up with Pat White, but I'll give it to the Heisman winner)
RB1 - Chris Wells, OSU
RB 2 - Knowshon Moreno, UGA
WR 1 - Percy Harvin, UF
WR 2 - Michael Crabtree, TT (Or Jeremy Maclin- both will be sick sophomores)
TE - Chase Coffman, MIZZOU (Most will pick Beckum, but I like Coffman in that offense)
OT 1 - Duke Robinson, OK
OT 2 - Michael Oher, MISS
OT 3 - Andre Smith, BAMA
OT 4 - Max Unger, OREGON
OT 5 - Phil Loadholt, OK (Okies O-line will dominate this season)
K - Colt David, LSU
KR - Joe McKnight, USC

DE 1 - George Selvie, USF
DE 2 - Maurice Evans, PSU
DT - Fili Moala, USC
LB 1 - James Laurinaitis, OSU (no-brainer)

LB 3 - Brian Cushing, USC
LB 4 - Joe McKillop, PITT
CB 1 - Malcolm Jenkins, OSU
CB 2 - Alphonso Smith, WAKE
S 1 - Vontae Davis, ILLINI

OTK, good team. Good job spreading the wealth (around the country).

I don't understand why Stafford continues to get placed on a lot of these All-American teams (usually second or third team). He is a hell of a NFL prospect...but his collegiate numbers do not translate into All-American numbers (or even All-SEC). He completed less than 55% of his passes, 17td/10ints. He averaged less than 200 ypg passing. Based on NFL potential, sure, he's an All-American....but there are at least 5 other college QB's that are more deserving (Chase Daniels, Pat White, Cullen Harper, Dan LeFavour, Sam Bradford), based on numbers alone.

CoachCB, you are CORRECT again on Stafford. He will get his at the WLOCP when the Powerful Florida Gators Krack some Bulldog Nutts! :nohead: LT

Yeah, I guess you're right about Stafford. The kid undoubtedly has all the tools to be a top QB not only in college, but in the NFL as well, and I guess everyone knowing that will put him on preseason all-american teams when really we all know he hasn't been a stat stuffer in college. I don't know about Pat White, just because he really isn't a great passer, but putting Chase Daniels or Sam Bradford on the 2nd and 3rd teams makes a lot of sense to me. Sometimes people are just going to get carried away with the potential though, and I'm a victim of that too.

:missingte:lol:

Stafford is, in my opinion, the best manager of a game in college. He's ability to check out of plays was inpeccable by the end of last year. He will never have the stats that some of the other pass-oriented QB's have, but the kid can flat out play.

BOL Coach LT. The WLOCP is gonna be a hell of a game.

Why would stafford ever throw the ball. He has the best running back in the country behind him.

He will have the best receiving corps that he has had at UGA.

MoMass, Durham, Goodman, AJ Green for starters. I expect the play calling to be 50/50 for the year.

CoachLT, I sure hope so!!

Furmanski, I think you guys got a great one! He very well may be the best manager. I don't know. It seems after the UF game UGA blew everybody else out, so it was hard to tell!! I've gotten into arguments with some of my "homer" Gator buddies over on Gatorcountry.com about who the better pro prospect is, Stafford v Tebow. I say Stafford. And this is just from what I've read by several pro scouting services. It makes sense. Does an NFL team want a Brady or a Vick? Most will take a Brady/Manning, which is what Stafford projects to be. Now, with that said, these are COLLEGE All-American Teams and Stafford - with his numbers - does not deserve to be on an All-American Team (maybe All-SEC, but that's questionable as well).....

Definitely not going to argue that Tebow has put up much better offensive numbers than Stafford through the first 2 years...that is not arguable for sure. I think they are totally different QB's, and I am certainly happy to have Stafford as i am sure Gator fans are happy to have Tebow.

I think that Stafford gets the pub. that he does because of what he does "outside" of the numbers he puts up in games. That is all I was saying.

Wells is the best running back in the country and McKnight (if he is eligible and starts) is the second best running back in the country. You could even make a case for McCoy being ahead of him.

I love Moreno, and think he is great, but IMO he's the 3rd or 4th best back. Stafford is THE most talented QB, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be the best QB or put up great stats. That's the good thing about Georgia, they have balance. One week they can beat you with Moreno going off for 180 yards and 3 TD's and the next week Stafford will be lights out and throw for 300 yards and 5 TD's.

You might want to alert the NFL scouts of this problem. It will be a shame when they draft Wells in the top 5 next spring only to find out he's actually no good since he got all of his stats against the sisters of the poor and the school of the deaf.

221 yards vs. Michigan State
133 yards @ Penn State
169 yards vs. Wisconsin
222 yards @ Michigan
146 yards vs. LSU

Not sure any of these defenses would qualify as sisters of the poor or school of the deaf however?
