2002-03 NHL PLAYOFF CONTEST- We're Just Hammering Out the Last Details Tuesday Evening

The 2002-03 NHL Playoff Contest is in the works... sponsors, prizes and specific rules to be announced shortly.

The 2002-03 NHL Playoff Contest will be similar to the Regular Season Contest, with the following changes

More Selections: Contestants will be able to select from sides and totals, plus same-game parlays of sides and totals. Prior to the start of each round of the playoffs, contestants will be able to select futures on the Stanley Cup winner, Conference winner and series winners.

More Like a Sportsbook: Contestants will be assigned an initial bankroll. Subject to having funds in the bankroll and the limits assiociated with each selection type, constestants will be able to vary the number of units assigned to each selection.

Every Game is on the Board: Contest lines will be available on every game, even if they are not immediately available overnight. Contestants will have a chance to make multiple posts, if they need to.

Less 'Problem Posts': Honest! We'll try to clean up some of less-friendly administrative rules that we had in place for the Regular Season contest.

No, not yet CJI. Not to worried about it though, maybe they are too busy setting up the playoff contest!!

Would be nice to have before the playoffs started, almost tempted to put one account on the Ducks eliminating the Wings

We are about ninety-nine percent done; Ice and I are exchanging e-mails with the contest sponsor to confirm the rules and the prize distribution.

I expect to have the official contest threads and rules thread up in the next four to six hours.
