Sidney
Ponson VS ANDERSON
113.0 Innings Pitched 79.2
3-12 Wins-Losses 1-8
6.29 Earned Run Average 7.23
37 Walks 30
61 Strikeouts 30

Career vs. opponent
91.0 Innings Pitched 46.1
7-5 Wins-Losses 4-4
3.56 Earned Run Average 5.24

Ponson was signed as a free agent in January and assigned the role as ace of the staff, but he's gone 1-12 since April 20, leads the majors in losses and owns an unsightly 6.29 ERA.

The hard throwing right-hander has been especially bad on the road, going 0-7 with a 7.69 ERA in nine starts.

ROYALS PROBABLE STARTER: Brian Anderson (1-8, 7.23 ERA). Anderson will make his second start since May 27. He's winless at home this year, going 0-5 in 11 appearances, including seven starts. The southpaw pitched an inning of relief, allowing one hit as Kansas City beat Baltimore 7-2 in his last appearance on July 10.

I LOVE THE OVER, BUT NOT TO SURE, YOU FIGURE IT OUT.

Career sele vs. opponent
- Innings Pitched 111.0
--- Wins-Losses 5-8
- Earned Run Average 5.19

no idea why anyone would take cleveland tonight.

maybe the angels suck vs a pitcher they have never seen before.

sele has held opp to a .245 avg at home, but cleveland hits him very well.

?

better plays tonight.

I would pound the Rangers and over tonight. I cannot remember the last game ChiSox won with Schoenweiss starting.

I think the Cub game goes over tonight also. Zambrano has been pitching overs lately. Only problem is the Cub offense.
