I've seen that and I see the similarity, but was Obama promised anything in return? Obama Tower perhaps? That's one of the items that is yet to play out and comes down to what Mike Cohen will testify to Congress. Cohen has already admitted to having tapes of Trump and already released one of them. Is it unreasonable to think there are more incriminating tapes that Cohen gave to Mueller in an attempt get a lesser sentence?
There is some definite quid pro quo going on with the Trump campaign that is absent the Obama remarks. I don't know what context that statement was taken out of, but you've got a sitting president doing his job and negotiating a deal on behalf of the country -- his comments may have been arrogant but he's the commander in chief essentially saying he's busy getting re-elected, but I'll touch base afterward and we can talk more.
Honestly, let's say Trump is 100% clean and the Russia story is BS. What would it look like if he WAS in bed with Putin? How would Trump act differently?
