This is a good example of a hobbyist bettor. Having a "favorite team" and betting on a division opponent should have nothing to do with each other.

Did I ever give you the impresion that I said I was a profesional.

If I did this profesionaly, I would be risking 10x more per game than I do now, and pay alot more attention to line moves and prices.

All I ever said I was is someone that has a knack for winning baseball bets 9 out of the last 10 years. 6 of those years over 100 units and 2 of those six years over 200 units.

If I wanted to be profesional I could be, but dont want it.

Sounds as if you took my comment as a shot at you. It wasn't. I was just pointing it out. It doesn't bother me if someone plays pro or hobby. Do what you love.

Makes sense to me. I will keep this in mind.
How about the Reds, Morris has been terrible and reds at home only laying -123?
I have been going against Morris often this season and will continue to do so, as he is just not the same pitcher he once was, especially on the road. He started the season pitching like he did a few years back, but since then has regressed. That said, the Reds and Arroyo have been a consistent fade of mine as well this season. It seems that Morris's overpricing is offset by the Reds and Arroyo's overpricing, as the line is set right in my opinion.
Good luck.

This Is NOT Meant As A Slam @ Anyone Else

But, BG you have w/o a doubt more understanding of MLB & the intricasies therin than anyone I have ever come across. Lots of guys know a lot, maybe as much as you. But you seem to be able to interpret that info and apply it to a wagering situation. The latter facet is unique IMO. Also what makes it a joy, at least for me is your total lack of ego or chest thumping. BOL my friend wish we could meet, so I could get an advanced degree. Have you ever thought of writing a book? "MLB As Looked At From The Other Side Of The Counter"! Tonite was a good example, I had already bet the Mets, but would not have played SL w/o reading your post. Then taking a 2nd look. 2 winnahs.
