If you like two team parlays play one that has some correlation to it. For instance play a nice dog and take the under with it. For instance UAB getting +10.5 and parlay that with the total of 37. Not all books allow this but most do. That's a low total for a college game so you are hoping for a low scoring close game where the dog can cover. TCU 17-10 or something would work nicely.
If you layed the 10.5 with the favorite then I don't think it's a good idea to play the under. If UAB scores just 2 touchdowns then no way can you win the parlay. For them to cover the 10.5 points it would have to push the game over the total points allowed, 25-14 for example. Anyway just food for thought, I am far from a knowledgable parlay player.
