The answer is the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns (ULL). Under coach Mark Hudspeth, Louisiana has bowl victories over
San Diego State, East Carolina, Tulane and Nevada putting them in the company of Michigan State, Oregon, South
Carolina and Texas A&M.

Mark Hudspeth is one of the best young coaches in college football. He made me a believer after watching him
as head coach of North Alabama. Hard worker who can recruit and coach. It wouldn't surprise me if he wins his 5th straight
bowl game this season.

We'll try this again in the future...with more time for the next one.

Wish i had seen this , ULL would have been my guess (and i need beer lol)

I agree 100% he's one of the best little known coaches out there. Unfortunately in the world we live in today , i dont think he's got enough "spit and polish" to be the ceo or face of a major company (like an sec sghool) but if he stays at ULL he'll keep winning bowl games. (all though i suspect somebody will pick him up for a coordinator job).

If you are a "big boy" school , you don't want ULL on your schedule.

You have to wonder why a Power 5 Program has not sent out feelers yet for him. His overall record is 102-37, but a lot of that was at Division II North Alabama. He never won a Division II Championship and that is what may be stopping some teams from giving him serious consideration. Another problem he has is his 0-7 record against power 5 conference schools.

I was hoping Florida would hire him.

I think his issue is he's rough around the edges. I'm not 100% sure, but there's definitely some stigma with him.

Go to youtube and check out his bench press video. He's hilarious and his players love him.

The stigma is that if you're in the sec and have an agent worth a damn you have to also be able to sell fords , sell hotdogs and cold cuts , sell soft drinks and potaro chips , and you have to be a pitch-man for a bank and an insurance company.

...In the old days guys like Dooley and Dye fell into the pitchman jobs b/c they were hc , but today you wont be a hc unless you can be a salesman. SAD !

Really don't know where the "stigma" rumor started. While at North Alabama, I use to watch his Sunday TV show every week and I thought he represented himself and the school quite well. Haven't seen any of ULL's game reviews.

Hudspeth is the highest paid coach in the SunBelt Conference at just over $1 million dollars. He'll get his chance down the road at a larger school and I'm confident he will do well. He is cut in the Butch Jones (TN) mold with that flattop and strong looking body.

I totally disagree with the idea of selling trucks or cars or anything else has anything to do with a university hiring a head football coach. WINS are what gets and keeps a coach with job security. Jez, ever heard the Ole Miss coach, the Arkansas coach, the Mississippi State coach? What about Bo Pelini or Fat Charlie...just a couple of "stigma" coaches who got a turn at the bigtime. Charlie Weis couldn't even get in a truck without help.
