I respect your picks, but I'm a little surprised to see you taking a KU team that squeaked out 1-point overtime win vs. ISU at home Saturday and got their ASSES handed to them in Lincoln just 8 days ago. I'm not sure I'll take Texas -7.5, but I sure don't feel good about this shaky Hawk team on the road just 2 days after an emotionally-draining game in which they choked a 16 point 2nd half lead in "the Phog" AT HOME.


Please offer some insight as to why you are on the Hawks as your pick of the day. Again, I respect your opinion and eagerly await your reply.

Kansas is not as bad everyone thinks, nor is texas as good.. The fact that KU has struggled on the road is evident.. The last time Kansas lost 4 in a row on the road, let alone 4 in a row by more then 7 points is ?

Siemen, Miles and the Hawks match-up well against Texas.. A Texas team which is coming of a TOUGH fought RIVALRY wn against OU on Saturday.. Texas maybe flat and KU will be ready to prove they can play on the road... I would not be surprised to see Kansas win this game tonight...

The main selling point for me is the let-down factor with Texas... And the fact that Kansas has something to prove on the road in conference... I'll take the 7.5 / 7 days a week here and twice on Sunday...

You're right about Texas--they lost in Ames a week ago as well, are definitely beatable. I'm just not willing to put any $$ on this Hawks team right now. They are 0-3-1 ATS in last 4.

KU has a lot to prove, but Texas does too....they haven't beaten the Hawks since 2000, home or away, they will be ready.

that is ok El Iguana.. I truly understand not wanting to play Kansas on the road.. There 0-3 there last three each lose by 7 or more.. I like KU enough tonight however to play with Texas that I was willing to make this a play.. LET-DOWNS are a huge factor in college hoops.. I think TEXAS has a let-down and Kansas a solid game...
