Nashville/Chicago Over 5 Even

Grab this game fast.
Chicago has been a solid scoring team and when they’re not getting goals in bunches they are giving them up in bunches.
In their last 15 games they have gone over the total 11 times, (11-3-1), with 105 total goals scored in those 15 games leading to exactly 7 per game. They play a wide open and reckless style of hockey as if they have nothing to lose. And with a record of 14-34-7 they don’t. No trapping defense with these guys.

The Predators have played tremendous at home this year but playing on the road is a different story. Not only are they 5 games under .500 but their GAA is a whooping 3.16. Add this to their average goals scored on the road of 2.20 and you can see where the lines maker’s number of 5 tonight is just dead wrong.
Their all-star goalie Tomas Vokoun has looked anything but recently. In his last 6 games the Predators have surrendered 22 goals for a 3.66 average.
In Nashville’s last 6 games they have gone 4-0-2 with their totals.

This number is too low, I can’t imagine this game having less than 5 goals scored, and getting it at even is value I can’t ignore. Put me down for a unit and a half.

The Kings continue to amaze. I don't think Rick Nash will play today for Columbus. Might take the Kings, but back to back makes it a tough play for me.

VV:

I totally agree with the over in the Nashville/Chi game. I already played it before seeing the post.

PHO/ANA OVER 4.5(-120). Brian Boucher has been cold lately for PHO and the Ducks have been playing Martin Gerber in goal alot recently since Jean-Sebastien has been brutal. Gerber is not a starter in this league.

SportsSavant…
I’ve been posting since December in another forum, (that I’m not sure if this forum allows for me to refer you to). I know in their forum the “eye in the sky” looks down on you posting the competition’s web address and deletes it in quick fashion.
All of my plays have full analysis and are documented through their forum’s history. And yes these they are all based on one unit plays.

Today I’ll change up my system a bit and keep a separate running total of my 1½ unit plays as well as the single units. In the past I’ve mentioned that my picks run in streaks and when things are falling into place I’ll bump up my units but equally when my fortune isn’t running so hot that I’ll back off on a unit amount. But that fact has never been reflected in my YTD total of my posts. Although it has on my personal balance sheet and my profit this year far outweighs the forum’s recorded bottom line.
I don’t chase plays when my luck is running south but I’ve got the guts to press when it isn’t. This to me is more important than simply picking games. Money management and discipline are two things I’ve learned over the years.

I’ve had a good year and have been very blessed. I know all to well how fleeting all those fortunate bounces of a puck can be. Here’s hoping they keep bouncing the right way off those pipes!

One thing I have noticed over the years is that more favorites seem to win & cover after the allstar break than before the break...Think it is cauz the good teams buckle down & really get to work for playoffs!

has anybody else found this?

Yea, I have....I think "hot" teams remain to stay "hot" for awhile if they are a poor team over all, but the cream does always tend to rise and the fav's start cashing tickets at a price though. I still won't play a fav over -135 though.

LA-Clb amd Phx-Ana 60 min ties +275 at WillHill are interesting bets. Phx-Ana have 32 ties between the two of them. 2 of the 3 meetings this year are 60 min ties.

Both games between La-Clb this season are 60 min ties. 6 of last 10 LA away games are ties.
