Seems as though a few Rxer's are on the A's, and after capping the game, there is no reason not to be! Outman has pitched very well this season as he is he owner of a low ERA and has a 3-0 record through 7 starts. Swarzek is coming off a beating vs. a banged up Cleveland Indians ballclub. The Athletics are a much better team than Cleveland this season, and other than Mauer I really do not have any respect for any player in the Twins lineup. Oakland dominates.
I am not as confident in my next selection but I know I will kick myself when the night is over if I do not bet it. The Padres and D'backs are coming off a very long game and both pens are beat up. Jake is coming off a shaky 1 inning start against the Phils (in which I made the same bet). I also really feel as though he is in more pain than advertised. I do not have enough confidence in the Padres' offense to bet the over in any game that play. Even though I would not be surprised if Garland falls apart, I will be taking Arizona over 3.5 runs. As long as Peavy does not go more than 7, this should be a winner!!!!
