NY RANGERS (-170) for 2 Units

• Rangers have won 4 out of their last 5 Games and the Caps have lost 4 of their last 5 games on the road. Rangers are best team in the East right now, with Boston a close second. Just hoping the Rangers don't look ahead to Tuesday night with their second game against the Bruins!!

FL Panthers (+115) for 2 Units

• Both teams are 4-2 since the All-Star Break but the Isles have lost 3 out of 4 at Home, so rolling the dice on the underdog.

DAL Stars (-125) for 3 Units

• Two not so hot teams right now, but I'm gonna roll the dice on Dallas, due to the fact that they have beaten the Kings the last 3 times they have played them.

PHI Flyers (+155) for 2 Units

• I'm gonna try to have at least one DOG OF THE DAY PLAY!! Today, I'm rolling the dice on the Flyers. I know the streak the Detroit has going right now, but Philly just has one of those teams that are gritty and I think can go into Detroit and play the spoilers!! Flyers, my DOG OF THE DAY PLAY!!

TB/PIT UNDER 5.5 (-105) for 1 Unit

• Just taking the Under for a small wager. The Pens put up 8 goals yesterday and the Lightening won a well played game and beat a team they probably shouldn't have beaten. Hoping fatigue plays a factor in this game, so I'm rolling the dice on the UNDER 5.5 goals.

Rough start on the ice for me....hit my 2 early plays and thought it was gonna be a good day for me, but that's why its called gambling. Ended up going 2-3 (-2.6 Units) for the day.

I forgot to mention in my first post that I wager $25/unit.....so my figures for yesterday were 2-3 (-2.6 Units) and lost $62.50

I will remember to update that number as well.....I will be back later today to post my plays

San Jose (-130) for 2 Units (risking $65 to win $50)

• I like the Sharks tonight for a few reasons. One, they laid a complete egg yesterday and are too talented of a team to lose to a team like Washington. Two, San Jose are 7-1 in the last 8 games against Washington, IN WASHINGTON!! Also, the Caps played a hard fought game yesterday against the Rangers and I believe will lose 2 in a row. I'm rolling the dice on San Jose tonight!!

Phoenix Coyotes (+145) for 2 Units (risking $50 to win $72.50)

• I'm taking the Coyotes tonight as my DOG OF THE DAY selection!! I know that Vancouver is a good team, but I think that Phoenix is playing well enough to come into Vancouver and beat the Canucks!! I'm rolling the dice with the Coyotes tonight!!

Took the day off for St. Valentine and my lady, but looking to make some money tonight on the ice!! Here we go:

Boston (-125) 4 Units (risking $125 to win $100)

• The Bruins ran into the HOTTEST goalie in the league last night. No one is playing better between the pipes right now than Lundqvist and he proved it last night. Boston heads out on a 6 game road trip tonight and in my opinion that helps the Bruins. They have been playing better on the road than at home as of late and tonight face off against a Montreal team with a sub .500 record at home. I'm rolling the dice on the Bruins!!

Toronto (-110) 2 Units (risking $55 to win $50)

• Pretty evenly matched game between Toronto and Edmonton. I don't think Toronto is as bad as a team as they have been playing lately. They have lost 4 straight and Edmonton has skated extremely well at home this year (15-8 at Rexall Place). However, Toronto snaps out of their slump tonight and beats the Oilers, who ironically are the last team the Leafs beat prior to this four game slide. I'm rolling the dice on the Maple Leafs!!

Colorado (+175) 2 Units (risking $50 to win $87.50)

• This is my DOG OF THE DAY PLAY!! (0-2 so far). Am I the only one who thinks that the Avalanche can beat Vancouver tonight?? I know Canucks have Kesler and the Sedin twins, but the last time these two teams faced off it ended in a shoot-out, which the did Canucks ended up winning. Here's my two reasons why the Avs win tonight. One, I think Giguere goes back in goal and has a great game to prove that he should be the number one goalie. And two, because there are just those teams that you play harder for and tougher against. The Canucks are that team to the Avs. Rolling the dice on the Avalanche for the DOG OF THE DAY PLAY!!

NY Ranger (-155) for 3 Units (risking $112.50 to win $75)

• I'm gonna make this short and sweet. Rangers are the hottest team in hockey right now, maybe St. Louis a close second, playing at home against a Chicago team that is on an eight game losing streak. I'm not saying Chicago is a bad team, but there are in a DEFINITE slump and playing the Rangers is not gonna help. Lundqvist is 4-0-2 with a 1.80 GAA vs. Chicago. I'm rolling the dice on the RANGERS!!

Tampa Bay (+120) for 3 Units (risking $75 to win $90)

• DOG OF THE DAY PLAY (0-3)!! For all you FADERS out there, I am 0-3 on my DOG OF THE DAY PLAYS.....anyway, I'm not a big fan for putting money on what they call a "REVENGE" game, but I will make an exception for this game. Now, I am a big sports fan and I have played sports all my life and when you take a beat down from any team, in any sport, you remember that game. The Sharks dismantled the Lightening 7-3 on December 21st and Tampa Bay has been waiting for this team to come back around. I'm rolling the dice on Tampa Bay!!

Phoenix (+115) for 3 Units (risking $75 to win $86.25)

• Despite the Kings having a 3-0-1 record against the Yotes this season, Phoenix is playing their best hockey this season as of late. For the exception of an overtime loss to the Canucks a few days ago, the Coyotes pulled off five wins in a row and tonight they start off another winning streak. I'm rolling the dice on the Coyotes!!
