THE NEXT FEW DAYS ARE A GOOD TIME TO REFLECT ON THE FIRST HALF AND FIGURE OUT WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED

I LEARNED I HAVE IDEA WHEN TO BET THE BREWERS OR ANY O/U POSTED ON THEM.

YANKS, TEX, WSOX, CARDS, FLO ARE ALL FOR REAL.

JUST BET AGAINST THE KC, MONT TEAMS FOR THE MOST PART.

TBAY WILL NOT KEEP THIS UP.

THE KEY TO THE SECOND HALF I FEEL IS WHAT TEAMS HAVE OVER USED THEIR BULLPENS.

WHAT TEAMS HAVE THE MOST APP. AND INNINGS, THOSE TEAMS WILL STRUGGLE THE 2ND HALF.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED. PLEASE SHARE

Nothing really.

Except that the A's leave more base runners stranded then any other team in the league. Oh, and that whenever Barry Zito pitches, and I have the A's to win, they lose.

Bet the under on the Cubs due to the good pitching and their inability to score except when wind is blowing out of Wrigley. Teams imo to bet in 2nd half:

Atlanta - getting healthy and the so called contenders didn't put them away when they should have.

Anaheim- survived injuries and should be ready to take control of West

Toronto- big underachiever in 1st half; should start winning with pressure of contending over

Best of luck.

LIKE WHAT YOU HAD KOJAK,

BUT I THINK TORONTO'S PITCHING SO BAD THAT IN THEAT DIVISION BALT AND TBAY ARE THE ONLY TWO THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO BEAT.

AND THAT BEING A SLIM CHANCE.

I ACTUALLY LIKE THE RAYS TO END UP HIGHER.

AND ANHEIM YOUR RIGHT, IF COLON GETS HIS HEAD OUT OF ASS, LOOK OUT.

White Sox overs at home in the second half. Their starters have thrown a lot of innings - but not as many innings as the Cardinals. We'll see how good the Cards look when their pitching starts to break down.
They haven't had a slump yet so we'll see.

I would expect the Astros to play better.

I see the Reds, Tigers, and Dodgers fading.

Great sleeper team - The Mets.

Truly,

In regards to Toronto, they played several games in the 1st half with their two best players in Delgado and Wells both playing below average and injured. Their pitching staff with Halliday,Lilly, and Bautista is not bad while their bullpen needs work. I see a lot of value in 2nd half with this team. gl

Here is what I have learned.

1. Bet on the LA Dodgers, especailly when they are a dog, because they have a bullpen that won't blow late leads and if they do, they still win. If it wasn't for the Dodgers I would be down a ton of units for the year. If it wasn't for Hideo Nomo I would have paid off my house this year. Thank god he is gone for now.

2. Bet the under if Ben Sheets is pitching because he's dominating right now, and they have a quality bullpen to hold the score down. Not too many bats on the Brewers side to inflate the score.

3. Bet against the Dbacks, they are this year's Detroit Tigers (from last year). They have given up and are completly and utterly frustrated. I truly beleive you could fade them every game after the allstar break and end up plus units, if you line shop of course.

That's all I've learned so far

What bias? I heard that about the Sox on ESPN 1000 Sunday Morning. Also they have hit the most HR's at home this year. Reporting just the facts. Having said that, I would take Oakland all series vs the Sox starting Thursday.

Don't take runlines. Guaranteed to lose faster. Just look at Co-Cap's plays for an example.

I agree, but I think they are shopping Bautista. Probably a smart move there.

I learned that sometimes even though you try so hard to love the one your with (MLB)...It still so hard to work out, cause your so caught up in loving the one you want (FB).

I have learned that the dodgers are another team i have no idea when to play or fade.

i know the diamondbacks suck, on the road just fade them.

I like the cubs in the second half, as well as anheim to kick it in.

there is always a few teams that kick it in after the break, watch and see who wins a few games right away and run with them.

WHITESOX have always been a good second half team.

HAVE THE CARDS PLAYED JUST ABOUT EVERY GAME AT HOME OR WHAT?

Teams with great value that can score some runs-Rockies/Tigers[/B, DevilRays and Rangers.

Overrated teams-Phillies, Baltimore, Houston, Twins, Oakland(on the road).

Let's kick ass 2nd half of the season. AllStar break came at a great time for myself. Time to regroup and come out with some winners for the 2nd half. Good Luck.
