The holding call on the next play was not his fault. He picked up one of the penalties with the 3rd down throw (11 yards)to Bennett.

putting his team 3rd & 20 and with him limping around put his O Line in a no win situation

The holding call was bogus...you don't throw the flag in that situation unless it is a blatent hold.

MSS - The Pats blitz on 2nd down forced the grounding, as did the same type of all out blitz on third down, cause the holding. McNair made two terrific throws to Bennett with a bad ankle. Thats football, great throws, catches, penalties, etc. IMO.

Frank - I'm no big McNair fan but he does give all he has. This was another typical close Patriot game, the kind they have been winning all season. Nothing spectacular, just solid hard hitting football.

wil. GL tomorrow.

McNair's not a bad QB but the problem is that the media has him overrated. Plus I'm tired of hearing how tough he is when Favre goes out there every game even with a broken thumb or the passing of his father. McNair is good but not the league MVP or the toughest QB in the league as the media keeps pushing down our throats.
