13 point teasers in the NFL

Every Sunday I play 13 point teasers with NFL dogs,
I have been gambling a very long time, probably longer
than most of you are even alive. I have been told
that teasers, especially multi team teasers are a very
bad play. I must disagree. I have had some, I don't
want to say great, but some success with these plays.
If my calculations are correct, this past Sunday every
dog with 13 points in a tease was a winner. Also, if
you check I believe you will find a very big majority
of NFL doggies cover with the extra 13. Granted I know
you must hit a good rate to overcome the high vig, but
just for the heck of it check it out this Sunday. I also
love to play three of these 13 point dogs into the fourth
dog that is playing in the night game. If the first three
hit you have a tremendous middle. I had that middle last
night but unfortunately the Ravens didn't lose by 1 to 13.
I like this play and would love to hear your comments,
either negative or positive.

BTW, I don't think this is a great play in college because
of the many games that are won by 20, 30 or even more.
But the pros, oh yes.

To use an old cliche "whatever floats your boat" if you feel confident you can win playing 13 pointers go for it. I used to play some open 13 point teasers at one time and had some success especially opening two and playing one game (with the same side) at a time with each teaser - leaving the 4th end open for Monday night. Then playing both sides for a 26 point middle. The middle turned out to be much harder to hit than the 13 point teases.

Isn't that amazing. This year, so far it has been
a good play. Can't recall the exact numbers but
I know most weeks have been profitable. Naturally,
you won't win every game, like this Sunday. But,
you gotta love the middle possibilities. Thanks
for the feed back.

i have done very well over the years playing 4 team 13 point teasers in the nfl, years ago, i booked a guy who won 61 straight of them

As hard to believe as that seems, I believe it. Did you
or do you play mostly doggies? I never, have a
favorite in a 13 point NFL teaser. And although I
still play them in college I don't have near the
same results. Thus, I play college with much
smaller money.

Change of subject, I think that is the very first time
I have ever seen a NFL review that I disagreed
with.

stacilu, I have been playing some 2 game 7 point lay -110 teasers at ABC....

teasers seem like can be some good value in the NFL that is for sure, due to the parity in the league...

Yesterday I went 8-0 on these teasers looking for 9-0 today with

Tennessee +10/Under51 (Ties win)

I believe it. Since you went 8-0 yesterday you must
play mostly doggies too. However, it is not unusual
for both sides to hit, especially with 13 points.

Great play tonight, I would love to be sitting with
+10 and under 51 at this point of the game.
Good luck, I also have Tenn straight and with
the money line, but not in a tease. Wanted
to tease them at BoDog at about 6 pm, but they
didn't have the other lines up yet. That is one
of the complaints about them. But, bottom line
is they pay. I am rambling, don't know why.
Didn't even have any booze yet.

Great minds think alike STACILU, I also have Tenn ML & point spread...

dont know how confident I am on the Under 51 right now, Kind of wish I had OVER 37 instead.....

as for yesterday... yeah mostly Dogs... except for Indy...

Yep, probably the only iffy would be the total.
Man what is up with this GB D. I usually love
the under but sometimes you end up rooting
for your team not to score. That is annoying.

Started playing 13 pt teasers in middle 70's. Castaways was offering a 4 team 52 points spread, any way you like, as well. The average week had 26 or 27 of the 28 teams covering. (favorite or dog) You had to pretty much be an idiot to lose. Went on run where we never lost. They disappeared soon thereafter. Not sure if any Vegas books carry them now. Offshore books do and still see value on regular basis.

No 52 Pters anymore, that I know about. Regular 13 pointers are still available. I've been playing at bodog for one!

The odds are 120/100 at bodog. The Castaways teasers were even money in the day, if I recall.
