TEMPLE -12.5
Risk 4.4 to win 4.0 units
East Tennessee St. lost three of their best scorers from last year: Reed, Swader, and Strong.
They are starting a Freshman Point Guard and a 6 foot 4 Center. How bad must the players behind these guys be?
Meanwhile Temple has talent all over the place. They do have an injury to their big center Sergio Olmos, and he's questionable, but it shouldn't matter. Dionte Christmas is a stud with the ball in his hands, he was recently named to the Wooden Preseason All-American List for the Top 50 players in the country, 6-9 sophomore power forward Lavoy Alloy has NBA scouts buzzing, and they have other guys who can knocked shots down from all over the court. They have guys on the bench who would be studs at East Tenn St. This line should be upwards of 20 IMO.
Fran Dunphry teams are all low-turnover offense, high turnover/transition defense. They got guys who know how to take care of the ball. This line should be upwards of 20-24 IMO.
