I was leaning to Hofstra + the points, but after looking a bit deeper, they have played NOBODY close to Duke's caliber. and lost to a bad St. Louis team Saturday.....

You may be right here, I'm just concerned about motivation though

I think when Hofstra went up 5 late in the first half, it woke Dook up. Their defensive effort increased megafold

For me this was a no bet. It seemed like so many was taking Hofstra plus the points. Duke has been having problems but when they put it together they play like a top 10 team. Sadly you can't count on them to put it together. I think you are right Wilie, when Hofstra went ahead Duke woke up. Glad you picked up the win.
