We have played the Over in the first three games of this series and it's a no-brainer to once again recommend Over tonight's line of just 9.

Let's keep it simple....
Game 1 - 17 runs on 26 hits
Game 2 - 19 runs on 30 hits
Game 3 - 23 runs on 31 hits

For those of you not that good at math that's an average of 19.7 runs per game and we need basically half of that offense tonight for this play to be a winner. And it's not as if tonight's starting pitchers are better performed than their predecessors. The Over is 5-0-1 in Hampton's last six starts while seven of Vazquez's ten home starts have gone Over.

Montreal are averaging 5.2 runs through their last ten home games. The Braves have scored an average of more than seven runs per game since July 6 and this season are 45-30 Over against right-handers.

No sport is as conducive to streaks as the everyday nature of baseball and we will once again recommend the Over with confidence.

Recommended Play: Over 9 -105

Good luck

I respect you opinion but have to disagree on this one. Two pitchers with a combined ERA the last 3 starts of around 6. BOth pitchers have gone an average of 7 plus innings in those starts. An umpires who seems to favor the pitcher, with a good % of his games going under. I am not a very good BBall capper but I like the under a lot more then the over. JUSTMYOPINION

I know what you mean here JW. I can see you've done your homework and there is ample reason to be cautious. Vazquez really concerns me as he has been pitching rather well lately.

But I just have to go with the offensive numbers these two teams have been putting up in their last 3 games. The offense outweighs the defense here. You need both starting pitchers and both bullpens have good games in order to be under in this game.

If it does go under my hat is off to you but I am putting my money on the over.

Good luck.

Well this one went with no outs in the top of the 6th with a grand slam.

Thanks again Mike.
