I guess we agree to disagree. I like the story and what happened the intruder but this was best case scenario.

Sounds like he fired a shitload of shots at this guy. So many things could've and still may happen.

What if he killed this guy? Any future psychological problems?

What if he shot someone nearby on one of his 10 missed shots?

I still don't think one incident that worked out justifies an 11 year old being responsible enough to have unsupervised anytime access to a gun
