11 Inches of rain in 2 1/2Hours.....what a morning

For those of us that live in the Metro Houston area....what a morning it was.

Started raining at 5:30 am at my place off I-10 and Dairy Ashford and by 8am the bayou behind my apartment was a fast moving river...if it would have rained 2-4 more inches then my apartment would have been part of the river.

Used to bang a chick that lived off of that Dairy Ashford/I10 interesection way back in the day. (1980)

Then she moved to California to go to college and I never had cause to return to H-town (from my DFW home) ever again. (yet)

Thats Buffalo Bayou in Downtown Houston...and that's the County Jail Annex

It seems that's how it works down here, either you get no rain or never stops.
