I'm quite surprised to see UNC getting 10 points at home vs. VaTech. Perhaps it is because VaTech is 6-2 SU and ranked 22nd in both polls. Perhaps everyone is expecting the proverbial "letdown" after UNC's win over Miami-Fl last week. Perhaps it is because UNC is 4-4 SU.

I have not seen UNC play this year, but I know they are 4-1 SU at home, their lone loss at the hands of a very good Louisville squad a month ago. I know that in their last 3 games they beat NCState and Miami-Fl SU at home as a double-digit dog.

I would appreciate any input any of you have on this game.....this looks like a live, PROVEN home dog with a great shot at winning SU actually getting 10 points from a team that basically lost the game at GT last week until 2 miracle long passes bailed them out. I plan to UNLOAD on this game unless someone can give me some good reasons not to. Thanks in advance for your input.

Is there no one with an opinion on this game? I'm positive there are readers out there who know more about these teams than I do.....I would sure appreciate your input.

Iguana.

I stumbled upon this play last night, and was just as confused as you. UNC has a tough offense, and like you said they are playing excellent @home this year.
I watched that G-tech game, and they got their asses kicked for 3 1/2 quarters. They are typically a different team away from Blacksburg.
Let's hit this one hard.

What is your take on the Kstate game. I'm thinking it is a solid play, considering they have beaten Mizzo the last three years pretty badly, and they still have a chance @ a good bowl and possibly the Big 12 south Championship---correct?

Man, I don't know about State, Muff.....I was at the TTech game, confused the hell out of me. Tech played about as expected (scored 35), but their defense was surprisingly tough, and K-State's offense looked anemic at home??!! Mizzou looked just as pathetic at Nebraska (ca$hed on that one!). Both KSU and MU offenses are suffering from schizophrenia right now.

I'd like to think that State can hang in Columbia, as they did in College Station and Lawrence, but the fact is they have not won a road game this year, and I don't trust them to keep it close after last week's performance. I think the stronger play will be the UNDER 50....cheer for good defense and hope for the best.

You're right; KSU could still win the Big XII North with a 4-4 conference record....#$%^ing pathetic! I'm embarrassed to watch any team from the North go up against OU on Dec. 4th. Take the $$ you would normally put on State and put it all on UNC. GL this week.

Thanks,

Iguan appreciate the insight. I may lay off state. I am liking aTm this week, again. I think they match up well against Ok, and Okhas had a schedule nightmare the last 3 weeks. They will be put to the test once again. I feel if they win this one, and win it convincingly they will be the national champs. Right now I think you have to give it to USC.

Muff, I agree about OU--I think they win, but it will be close, don't see a blowout in College Station with those crazy cadets shouting in unison.

Docgone, thanks for the vote of confidence on my system.....but I am loading up on UNC unless someone gives me one solid reason not to. Has anyone ever told you that you have a nice avatar? Maybe it's the same chick on WVUACE's avater.
