as for your 2B play - we will be on the same side here. i wasn't at the game saturday where fullerton killed northridge - at CSUN - but from friends who were there - it was every bit as ugly as the final score of 95-70 csuf. not much has changed around 100 hours later. i can tell you that while the crowd won't be much for this game (tip-off around 8:30P - PST) the crowd will be mostly fullerton since thr tourney is being held about 10 minutes from campus - and about an hour from csun (longer when you factor in the traffic at that hour). fullerton should win this game by at least 5 points.

as for the slo/ucr game - i orginally leaned to UCR, but a friend pointed out this will mark UCR's first-ever big west tourney game and we don't know what to expect from them. slo is playing really well lately and is the hotter team right now. in all honesty i have NO CLUE how this one will turn out. make me bet it - i flip a coin and whichever way it turns out - i'd bet it - but only with monopoly money.

i will say something about the totals (both in the 140-range). keep in mind this tourney is being played at the anaheim convention center. this means the shooting backdrop is much different then these teams are used to. this can make for lower scoring games. having said that - slo and fullerton will try and push the pace and run - while csun and ucr will try and slow it down some. whoever can dictate the pace of the game - will win it. i am not so great on totals - playing only in rare instances - and this is NOT an instance i will be playing a total.

for those who recall the live updates i gave in the santa barbara/fullerton game - that went 2 OT - if the cover comes down to the last few seconds in the csun/csuf game - i will do the same - so if you bet this game - and it is dicey at the end - forget yahoo or espn.com - come here and i will update it faster then those 2 - within seconds of anything happening.

great reply.

yes i figured the total s would be less for the fact that you are pointing out, gym size and background.

fullerton really should win this easily.

and riverside like you i really liked, but poly beat them twice already. revenge i don't know.

good luck tomorrow.

i'm sure you guys have already thought of this, but doesn't it seem a bit odd that team B goes into team A's house, whoops their asses by 25 points in a game that was totally meaningless for both, then 5 days later the rematch game is lined at essentially pk on a neutral court????

Everything was falling into place then you step in and take this team.

I thought you were on board with me on both ND and BC.

the only i can say is that line makers use ratings to usually set the lines. these teams are rated about the same, so the line will be close.

that doesn't always mean these teams are close.

i liked the game before i even capped it.

hey jaypaw don't panic,

this isn't a double play for me.

all i can i can tell you is that at first glance i liked bc, then i figured out my system and it gave me georgetown. ouch is right.

i promised myself not to against my system. last week it hit just over 62% for these tourney games, so i'm going to stick with it.

saying that, my double plays are twice as strong as the reg plays. as you can see 5-4 for reg so far this week, and 6-2 in doubles.

now after looking at the game i really think that 7- or 8 is way to much. georgetown does play physical defense, and bc isn't as good on the road. granted georgetown sucks and i hope for my sake they haven't given up. And as we know this is the only way they will see the dance.

throw out the seeds, the big lines, what they did this season, all these games will be battles, they always are.

i still have nd.

a game i really like is seton hall.

best of luck.

for the record - that game was NOT meaningless to fullerton. if they had lost that game - they would have missed the tourney and be sitting at home instead of playing today. this might help explain the margin of victory, but fullerton is the better team.
