that 8 of 9 has no bearing.. these are totally different teams.. one at it's peak and the other reloading after a nice 3 year stretch...

some what true kodiak.
i think that the reason for espn to do something like that is to sway the public on grabbing the 6 points and maryland.
i have played against many of the streaks they post on for upcoming games and have profited more than lost
wake should win tonight by 7-12

yes , to a degree.
why would anyone really be into sports if there was no wagering?? i sure wouldnt watch as much. theres definately more educational shows on.
and do you believe oddsmakers are that much smarter than you.
i used to play every sport so there was interest in watching learning moves styles etc. now i only compete in softball leagues and bowling (getting old).
another good point to make as to why everyone here(including me) get sucked into bad games constantly.
case in point. app st last night(loser)
now watch these 2 tonight probally both losers
gb wis and middle tenn st the overall betters are on wake i think that one will be there's cause general public will be heavy on the 6+ tonight on maryland.
can you say fixed , i think its safe to say.
also heres one to for tonight ari'wash under 170 1/2 2 of the 3 will lose and safe to say no big surprise they all lose

fivedoorsdown,

To answer a few or your questions:
Yes, there are MANY people who watch the game with absolutely no money on it.

No, I don't believe the oddsmakers are that much smarter than me. I refuse to get suckered into some sort of mind game. I play my numbers, regardless of how many people in any forum, drunk guys down the street, or wagerline players like or dislike that same side.

Good luck to you, and I hope you have a very profitable night, but you are showing some early signs of paranoia, or maybe you've just had one too many
